Pickleball360 - Pickleball Tournament Management iPad App
Tournament managers in the pickleball industry were still relying on paper documents, Excel sheets, and multiple disconnected tools to organize events. This fragmented system caused inefficiency, wasted time, and made the overall tournament management process unnecessarily complicated.
The project was designed specifically for pickleball tournament managers in the United States. We interviewed organizers in California, Miami, and Mexico, focusing on their daily challenges. The goal was to create a solution that would allow them to manage the entire tournament process from a single device and platform.
We started by analyzing existing solutions in the market. While several tools existed, none provided a fully comprehensive, one-device management system. To bridge this gap, we conducted user interviews with tournament managers to understand their needs and pain points.

Based on these insights, our project manager, product owner, and I (UI/UX designer) collaborated in brainstorming sessions to define the concept. After documenting our ideas, I created initial wireframes and UI designs in Figma.

Throughout the design phase, I worked closely with the team, turning designs into prototypes and testing them with real managers via online sessions. Their feedback guided multiple iterations, improving usability and aligning the product with their workflow. I also collaborated with developers to adjust the interface for a smoother implementation process. For the first version, we decided to keep the platform simple, with room for expansion in future releases.
Result
The final product enabled managers to oversee the entire tournament from a single hub, eliminating the need for paper and multiple tools. This streamlined approach significantly improved efficiency and reduced friction in the organization process. Feedback from managers was overwhelmingly positive, confirming that the solution addressed their core challenges.
